Our Natural Gut Strings are, by their nature, fully biodegradable, and we believe their packaging should reflect the same philosophy. We have therefore taken great care to move towards recycled and biodegradable packaging, choosing materials that are more thoughtful, more responsible, and more in keeping with the values that shape our work.

There are sometimes misconceptions around the traditional solutions used in natural gut string making. At Bow Brand, every solution used in our process is carefully selected, used in the minimum quantity required, and handled with respect for both the environment and the integrity of the string. The solutions we use are also found within the food industry, and our approach is deliberately measured. Excessive or unnecessary treatment would not only be environmentally irresponsible, it would also compromise the natural structure, strength, and tonal quality of the gut itself.
